31 Day Challenge Day 19, Galaxy Nails

Hey guys!

So my finger is doing much better and I have started polishing a bit. 

I have quite a few challenge days to make up for so I need to get to work!

I know Kimber said I didn't have to make them up but I want to! 

I missed a few that I was looking forward to so I have to do them!

I have never done galaxy nails before and I was really exited to try them.

I basically sponged on a bunch of different colors and added some dots and called it a day.

They don't really look like a galaxy but they sure look pretty!

Short and sweet because typing takes a little longer...

My finger is doing much better! The swelling has gone way down and it is a lot less sore.

I will start posting again in a few days :-)

I know I have quite a few Challenge days to make up and I hope to post them soon!

31 Day Challenge, Day 18: Half Moon Nails and some bad news...

Hello ladies!
So last night I was at work and I injured my middle finger on my right hand...
and I'm right handed.
It's not broken but I crushed it really well. So my finger is in a splint and hurts like h-e double hockey sticks. On the plus side the ER doctors really liked my nails as they were checking out my finger :)

I'm not sure yet but some of my 31 day challenges might have to be postponed. I haven't tried polishing yet but I can't write so I don't know how well I'll be able to hold a brush. Good news is my finger nail was not harmed in this whole ordeal

Luckily I already did today's! I was still wearing it when I smashed my hand...
 Nail polish time!

1 coat OPI Nail Envy
2 coats Sation Jock Juggler 
stamped with CH6 and Maybelline Navy Narcissist
also used paper reinforcement stickers for the half moons

The Maybelline Color Show Metallics are awesome for stamping!

Had a little smudging but hey, nobody is perfect.

I love glitter and I love glitter nail polish.

One of my favorite brands for glitter is Color Club they have amazing glitter polish.

This is one of my favorites, Jingle Jangle it is a lovely mix of tiny purple, blue and teal glitter.

Hey, eeek I'm a day late again. Bad Joanna!
Anyway onto the nails! I have never done tribal nails before and I didn't have a lot of time so I just went with what I know, stamping!

31 Day Challenge Day 14: Flower Nails

Hello ladies! 

Today's theme is flowers! I love flowers and I love flower nails. 

So today should have been easy, except I ran out of time. 

It's fall and the days of direct sunlight are going to be few and far between so I spent my free time swatching my holos, something that I've been meaning to do for a while.

Tonight is my old high school's alumni game and I wanted to have some purple on my nails to represent :)

So I multitasked, I slapped on one of my favorite holos Nfu-Oh 61 and added some purple and flowers.

1 coat Nfu-Oh Aqua Base

2 coats Nfu-Oh 61

2 coats Sation Tardy Tart on the ring and thumb fingers

stamped with BM-306 and Pure Ice Silver Mercedes

topped with SV

I love holos and I am counting down the days to Color Club's Halo Hues 7 days!
