I'm back with Creative Fantasy!

I'm back!

I have really missed you guys but I'm happy that I took some time off to be with my family.

Things are a little bit better. I have been dealing with my feelings and it was nice to have a little break from everything and just be.

But I'm back now and so happy that I am! What is amazing is that while I was gone I got some new followers on Blogger and on Facebook, so welcome!

So this is a look that I have wanted to try since I first saw this post on Makeup Withdrawal.
This look uses loose powder eyeshadow sprinkled on top of your wet nail polish and sealed in with topcoat. Hence her naming it "Sprinkled Nails"

For this I used China Glaze Creative Fantasy, a bright purple that is almost a jelly but dries with an almost rubber finish. Confusion in a bottle. I had to use 3 coats for opacity and you can still see VNL in the picture but not it real life.

1 coat OPI Nail Envy
3 coats China Glaze Creative Fantasy
Sprinkled with NYX loose eyeshadow in Lilac Pearl and Turquoise Pearl
Stamped with BM-301 and Konad Special White
topped with SV

Before the stamp. I should have used a more pigmented powder. Maybe next time, I like this look though.

31 Day Challenge Day 20: Water Marble

I'm back!

Thank you to everyone who reached out to me and my family in our difficult times.

You guys really helped me get through this with all your kind words.

Hopefully now nothing crazy happens for a while because I think my family needs a break :)

Now I know I am so far behind on the challenge... again.

I am just going to try to power through and catch up... again!

Today is water marble!

I love water marble and I really wanted to incorporate a holographic color, so I pulled out my favorite holo...

31 Day Challenge Day 19, Galaxy Nails

Hey guys!

So my finger is doing much better and I have started polishing a bit.

I have quite a few challenge days to make up for so I need to get to work!

I know Kimber said I didn't have to make them up but I want to!

I missed a few that I was looking forward to so I have to do them!

I have never done galaxy nails before and I was really exited to try them.

I basically sponged on a bunch of different colors and added some dots and called it a day.

They don't really look like a galaxy but they sure look pretty!

31 Day Challenge Day 16: Tribal Nails

Hey, eeek I'm a day late again. Bad Joanna!
Anyway onto the nails! I have never done tribal nails before and I didn't have a lot of time so I just went with what I know, stamping!

31 Day Challenge Day 8: Metallic Nails

Happy Monday!

I am having a ton of fun with these challenges and I hope you guys are too!

My life is crazy right now so this is gonna be a short and simple post.

One of the best things about metallic nail polish is that it stamps like a gem.

When I pick up a bottle at the store and it is metallic I know that I will use it for something no matter what, even if it is just stamping. Even better if it is a cheap, drug store, easily accessible polish that anyone can own. I have a few precioius hard to find or expensive polishes that are near and dear to my heart, but when I find a jewel of a polish at Walmart for 99 cents I dance in the aisles! Outrageous from Pure Ice is one of those polishes.

Onto the challenge...

2 coats of China Glaze Jungle Queen

stamped with Pure Ice Outrageous and plate Mash-50

topped off with SV

On a side note CG Jungle Queen is amazing! I had to leave an accent nail with just JQ on it because it was so pretty. I couldn't stop staring at it looking for that purple shimmer that jumps out in just the right lighting.

31 Day Challenge Day 7, Black and White Nails ;-)

Hey!

So here is something weird, there are two groups of girls doing this 31 Day Challenge. Our group started earlier, but we are posting every 3 days. The second group started later but is posting every day. What are the odds that the two groups would sync up and have Black and White day on the same day?!

So for today's mani I wanted to use something that I haven't featured yet. I love this polish and I am so happy to own it but it takes some practice to make it look nice. This is OPI Black Spotted:
